ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

THE OMEMEE MEDICAL CENTRE

The official opening of the Omemee Medical Centre was held July 7, 2009.

The 3,000-sq.-ft clinic treats patients through independent physician practice and offers a state-of-the-art blood collection and ECG facility as well as surgical-procedure room.

Dr. John Ludwig is the first physician on site as the board continues to work with the Kawartha Lakes Health Care Initiative to attract other family doctors and specialists.

As a registered charitable organization, day-to-day expenses must be covered by fundraising. Two local successful dances have been held and two walkathons were held in conjunction with the Omemee Lions Club.

Memberships are available for $5. Members are entitled to vote at the general annual meeting.
